"WE ARE PROUD"

Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Öztürk, a faculty member in the Department of Educational Sciences at Boğaziçi University, stated that he had long dreamed of applying for the TÜBA-GEBİP Award and that it became possible this year. He said, “Being deemed worthy of the TÜBA-GEBİP Award, representing the field of educational sciences with the project I submitted, and doing so with the research and development opportunities provided by Boğaziçi University is incredibly valuable and a source of great pride for me.”

Dr. Kenan Tekin, a faculty member in the Department of Philosophy at Boğaziçi University, emphasized that receiving an award in the field of philosophy holds special significance for Turkey. Dr. Tekin said, “In recent years, I believe the field of philosophy has not been sufficiently visible in some respects globally. In this regard, I especially value TÜBA’s decision to honor me with this award in the field of philosophy. Receiving such a prestigious award is highly motivating for my future work and projects. I am honored.”
